In my opinion, this is the perfect completion to the OVA series. Filled with humor, neat tricks, and a creative, interesting plot, this shows the very best of the characters from AMS. I couldn't help admiring the beauty of the plot - it has every opportunity for the cast to really show the courageousness, faithfulness, and love of the characters. Revolving around Belldandy and all those who love her (and there are a lot of those), it doesn't illustrate a battle between good or evil. Rather, it shows what trust and love (along with some power) can create - along with what is destroyed if it's not there.
Card Captor Sakura: The Sealed Card
In my opinion, the ending of episode seventy could have been better. I thought, "What? Sakura just stands there at the airport? No!" Fortunately for me, the real ending of Card Captor Sakura was contained in Movie Two. The very best of CCS is wrapped up in this movie - in the elegant touches that I love so much, to the humorous, precious romance that Sakura and Syaroan share. They blush so much! It really has the very best of Sakura and Syaoran - it brings out the best [or worst] in a romantic sap like me.
Grave of the Fireflies
If you ever want to watch an incredibly depressing, haunting, and incredibly beautiful, this is the perfect movie to watch. The young boy and his sister are struggling to survive - but it's so hard, when there's no food for them to eat. He does everything he can for his sister, who is barely five years old. You know from the beginning that both of them are dead; the whole movie is basically a flashback of those times. Watching this movie, while keeping in mind that sooner or later, the sister is going to just die - even as depressing as that is, you had to be happy, too. For while they lived, they lived - it showed me some of the best and the worst of human nature.
Sailor Moon R: The Movie
This, being the first anime movie I'd watched (I know, really, where was I all my life?)
