Well.
You wanted to know how it went?
The speech went fine. Apparently the other two guys recited their qualifications. I did a more conceptual speech. My friends said I did better, though I wouldn't know.
I had the best literature - I know I did, because Adam's lacked technical grace and Sarkiss' lacked qualifications. If I was completely unbiased, I'd say that - I didn't need my friends to tell me that.
In the end, it didn't matter. Three years of Key Club, two years attending Convention, and one stressful year as Publicity Chair went down the drain, because I lost anyway. Yes, Sarkiss won, and I'm so incredibly sad and hurt and betrayed that someone who has no experience, no knowledge of how KC even works, won anyway. Oh, same thing happened for Vice-President, too. It's like a nice little trend.
It didn't matter. It didn't matter one goddamn bit, any of the work I had done, any of the ideas I had, the experience I had. IT JUST DIDN'T FUCKING MATTER, and it's such an incredibly bitter taste, I can never, ever explain. Eloquence, diction, humor - all else fails me except swear words. Oh joy.
I'm really not in the mood to talk about it. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

The election had nothing to do with qualifications because almost everyone had their mind made up on who to vote for long before. This election (and club) went down the drain when people who will remain anonymous started saying to vote for Sarkis because he's gonna be the laziest president ever.
This whole comment probably won't be of any consolation, but you did all you could and the election was out of your hands.

Oh, honey. I'm so sorry. This is ridiculous. Many, many kisses for you tomorrow, you poor dear love. You deserve so much better, and if it's any consolation (it probably isn't), all the people who matter know it.

its ok it wont be ur fault when keyclub is sucked into the pits of hell.
and who would want to be president with... wait whats his name... oh ya SEVADA. who names someone sevada anyway?? i didnt know he even existed until his ridiculous attempt at a vice-president speech.
anyway u know u deserved it and thats all that matters.
daniel radcliffe matters too.
