08/17/2004 Entry: "Schedule"

Mood |
Post your schedule here so we can compare. Be nice!
Period 1: Photo 1 (I'm dropping this)
Period 2: AP English Literature (McNiff)
Period 3: AP Computer Science AB (Weiser)
Period 4: AP Statistics (Teng) - good god, right before lunch -_-
Period 5: AP Economics (Fahad)
Period 6: AP Chemistry (Thompson)
I'm dropping Photo for a T.A. position. My #1 choice is Thomson :) but if not, then I'm fine with asking Ms. Pauer.
Since I'm dropping Photo anyway, I was considering bumping my TA period into second period .. and then taking AP Literature first period. After all, it seems like everyone else is in period 1. :P But Christina is whining. :> Who should I listen to?
Should I:
- Take AP Gov? Bleh, it sounds nasty. But I mean, what's the point in not taking it after all this time?
- Take AP Chemistry? I saw Vache today and HE'S taking it too, and he also said that it's the hardest of the science AP's. Joy. Just what I wanted to hear.
Spoken words: 29 have fallen.
I'm not taking AP Gov, because I hear the most murderous things about Wasserman. I can do with spending half of senior year with a huge, complaining, screaming baby who assigns lots of busyhomework, thanks.
Word on the street is that Sarquiz is a better teacher anyway, and you could take the AP after his class and a little additional studying.
1. Fall - Economics, Fahad
Spring - Government, Sarquiz
2. AP ENGLISH LITERATURE!!!1, McNiff
3. AP French, Hiestand
4. Anatomy, Salach
5. Pre-Calculus, Feiler
6. Play Production, Gardner
NO! Lots of people are in AP Lit period 2: Me, Tanya and Taleen, Summer... But mostly me. Come ON. Don't you miss me? Wouldn't you like for our very last year together in high school (probably EVER) to be fun-a-licious?
Most impostantly, don't you want to terrify Mr. McNiff?
Even the phrase "terrify Mr. McNiff" is fun. Lots of "f's" and doubled consonants.

Awww, droppping photo? BOOOO! You shouldn't be too worried about stats. I got a B without the book and turning in the homework three weeks late so yah.

woo isn't as easy as teng. and woo has a REALLY annoying voice. so it's very hard to learn from her. and this is coming from me, who has a lot of patience with people who don't speak the best english (my mother, quaio, ex-gf's mom)...
i'd just like to advertise digital art/video. that's a very cool class. mr. hill can lose his cool sometimes, but it's only at the bad, stupid students. he loves ap students who make cool videos.
janice. my house. saturday. come over. my family is trying to put together a good-bye party type thingy. call if you can and want to come 8426484. sarah will be there.

How did they notify people about the senior photos? I just now found out about them from a "reminder" in my mailbox.

Yay, it's... me again.
The Bridget Jones trailer is up:

HE VOTES CONSERVATIVE? HE VOTES CONSERVATIVE?
Well, this must make Christina happy. That's like Spencer.
And. I read the sequel, but I don't quite remember what Hugh Grant's character is doing there.. O_o
It looks amusing, though.
And Colin Firth IS HOT.

And Colin Firth IS HOT.
This is why I love you.
Thanks for the book.

Message from our sponsors: AP English period two is smarter, faster, and a damn sight sexier. This fall, vote period two.
No no no, the fewer people there are voting conservative in this world, the happier I am. Free abortions, gay marriage, and copies of Bill Clinton's autobiography for EVERYONE!!!
Hahaha.
It's been a few years since I read the sequel, but I don't really remember Daniel II: The Reckoning either. I remember a small naked Asian (?) boy on Darcy's bed and tiresome subplots involving remodeling and being held prisoner in Korea (?), but that's it.
Oh, and IF SHE CHEATS ON MR. DARCY, WE WILL HAVE A PROBLEM. Like, for instance, a bunch of teenage girls and middle-aged women burning down the theater, because why on earth would you cheat on Mr. Darcy?
Time to watch the trailer again.

Addendum: In the message boards attached to the IMDb page for Bridget Jones 2, almost all of the women (I assume) have stolen Bridget's slapdash writing style. It's a bit unnerving.
"Anyway, I loved Olivia Joules' survival tin, self having been a girl who never left the house if the secret compartment in the school bag didn't have at least a full field hospital, food rations to last a couple of days (stock cubes and evening primrose oil capsules, v. nutritious), a Swiss army knife (with nothing but a nail file in it and had no use for that as was always biting nails)"

I just thought of something. Period two is homeroom, right?
We would make such evil doors for the door decorating contest.
Not that I'm into that sort of thing. 'hem, hem'.
Posted by Janice @ 08/21/2004 09:18 PM PST
Oh yes. Come to the dark side, Janice-sama. We have cookies.
Posted by Christina @ 08/21/2004 10:42 PM PST
Sama? When did Jan-chan get respect?
Can I have cookies? Oh, wait, I already have cookies. Better cookies than yours.
Posted by Sarah @ 08/22/2004 05:16 PM PST
Janice-sama gets respect from the cool people. The dorks are the ones who call her Jan-chan.
And you may have cookies. But we have orgies. I think we all know who the winners are.
Posted by Janice @ 08/22/2004 07:27 PM PST
Me!
'Cause I'm in college.
Posted by Sarah @ 08/22/2004 10:53 PM PST
Uh, I believe you misunderstand. We have cookies and orgies. At the same time. Oh, baby.
Oh. Baby.
Posted by Christina @ 08/23/2004 07:02 PM PST
Oh yea? Well I have...
A life.
Posted by Sarah @ 08/23/2004 10:18 PM PST
So if you have a life, that means you don't have cookies and orgies?
Life is overrated.
Posted by Janice @ 08/23/2004 10:31 PM PST
cookies...orgies...a life...
well, i've got free alcohol just a few blocks away from home.
frats are interesting.
i think i beat all of you.
oh and my weather is sexier and demands more respect than janice.
Posted by zenkalia @ 08/24/2004 09:37 AM PST
...you win...but I still get a consolation prize.
Posted by Sarah @ 08/24/2004 10:31 AM PST
Janice, dear, last night I was leafing through my yearbook when I happened upon your entry. Excerpts:
"There's no one I can be so sarcastic with other than you."
"We'd better be together in AP Literature next year."
This is our first chance in three years, and our last chance for many more. Take it, Janice.
Take it.
Posted by Christina @ 08/24/2004 01:14 PM PST
dont listen to her janice dont listen! change.. be with kaity and i... the threesome will continue on into the new school yr.
remember janice, there is no good and evil, there is only power, and those too weak to seek it... well christina is weak. WEAK. SHE should be the one changing to 1st period lit. then all would be well! seek that power janice! go for the gold! umm

Posted by Jessie @ 08/24/2004 02:02 PM PST
I would really really like to be in period one with all of you, but I have no valid reason to change my schedule. =(
Posted by Christina @ 08/24/2004 02:23 PM PST
sarah, our joke was topic-changed by silly christina who apparently REALLY wants janice in her english class.
Posted by zenkalia @ 08/25/2004 08:53 AM PST
I really, really do.
How much fun would it be to read Hamlet (and maybe then Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead) with Janice, hmm? Lots. And Janice, you know you'd like reading it with me.
SMOOCH.
Posted by Christina @ 08/26/2004 02:02 AM PST
...We should have our own conversation then, Mike. Screw them and their highschool.
Posted by Sarah @ 08/26/2004 11:52 AM PST
yes, because we are superior in every way.
Posted by zenkalia @ 08/26/2004 03:19 PM PST
Except that way. You know, that way.
