09/24/2004 Entry: "Tickets"

So the first day of school, I got a parking ticket.

It was simple. I thought it was Monday because it was the first day of school, when in fact it was Tuesday, and so when I read the sign that said, "No Parking on Tuesday", I thought, wow, how handy, I just won't park here tomorrow.

I was wrong.

And I paid my $35 dollar ticket. Punk bastards.

At any rate, I am now greatly comforted. Because I am now not the only one to get tagged by the BPD.

My sister just got a ticket for not having the 2005 sticker on her Hyundai Elantra. Sounds reasonable, right? After all, that is her fault, right?

The car was parked in front of our own house. Our *own* house. Her screaming probably echoed down to Victor's house.

"YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT THE BPD IS SO ANAL THAT THEY DRIVE UP AND DOWN THE STREET LOOKING AT THE BACK OF THE CARS!?"

Or something like that. Anyway, this is the blog entry, I'm too tired for much more. :P ::does a dance:: I'm not alone! I'm not alone!

Oh, yeah :P Bought the new Star Wars boxed set. Long live Han Solo, I love you passionately, even if you are old enough to be my father now. (Minor quiff, of course - ask Christina.)

Spoken words: 34 have fallen.

Han is mine, bitch. Let's take thos outside.

you forgot to mention how amazing it is having econ with me and christina.

you forgot to mention how amazing it is having econ with me and christina.

Or AP Kindergarten, as Tanner calls it. (That's funnier than my alternate name for it, "Health Part Two.")

Minor quiff, of course

Seriously.

Posted by Christina @ 09/25/2004 10:09 AM PST

I'll take you both on. Bring it.

Posted by Sarah @ 09/25/2004 03:37 PM PST

im sorry you got a ticket! ^^ im happy that you are in my photo class!

Posted by Lorik @ 09/25/2004 05:08 PM PST

oh... this was an entirely anticlimactic post, considering it's been over a month since the last one.

janice, do you keep a normal diary? because that would explain your lack of posting and then i would understand.

Posted by zenkalia @ 09/25/2004 05:17 PM PST

health part two. brilliant.

Posted by Jessie @ 09/25/2004 05:47 PM PST

Of course it was anticlimactic. Wtf were you expecting?

And Christina: I don't think I've met *that* Spencer, just your younger pimp version.

Do I keep a normal diary? Hell no. Tried several times, got too bored.

Yeah, Health Part Two is pretty good. How about we get it framed?

Lorik: I would hug you from across the room, but I don't think Ms. Hall would like that.

Posted by Janice @ 09/25/2004 08:59 PM PST

Pssh. Same Spencer, obviously.

Posted by Christina @ 09/25/2004 09:43 PM PST

I always thought that mentally he was David Letterman, minus the new acquisition of a small blonde child.

Posted by Janice @ 09/26/2004 11:54 AM PST

Don't cloud my arguments with facts, Janice.

Posted by Christina @ 09/26/2004 03:02 PM PST

I smell bacon, I smell grease. Don't look now, it's the Burbank Police.

Hoo hoo hoo hoo!

Posted by Spencer @ 09/26/2004 06:03 PM PST

Me mentally David Letterman would be ecstatically fun. But I'll settle for seven years younger and British

Posted by Spencer @ 09/26/2004 06:06 PM PST

Spencer, that rhyme is like cooked pig doing a jig.

No, it didn't make sense to me, either. Shuddup.

What's funny about the punk BPD is the fact that the Elantra was parked about half a foot in front of our nice big Odyssey (a minivan for you who don't know) - which means that in order to actually _see_ the sticker, you have to be standing and tilt your head.

Which means they are, what, walking up and down the street checking cars like the mailman?

My sister's rage continues.

Spencer: Seven year youngers than you currently are now, or than Letterman? Because Letterman I can understand (although I don't know why you don't say fifteen), but I don't think Christina wants to commit statutory rape.

Hey there.
I had to change my blog again... damnit.

Sorry about the crappy inconvenience.

Posted by Sarah @ 09/27/2004 04:35 PM PST

Age ain't nothin' but a number, baby.

Posted by Christina @ 09/27/2004 06:57 PM PST

Seven years younger than Letterman. He's well into his fifties and has a ten month old boy. How interesting...

Posted by Spencer @ 09/27/2004 08:31 PM PST

"Age ain't nothin' but a number, baby."

Amen.

Posted by Jessie @ 09/27/2004 09:17 PM PST

Age ain't nothin' but a number, baby.

Halleuiah! Sing it, sister!

Posted by Sarah @ 09/27/2004 10:26 PM PST

Now I'm slightly worried that Jessie and Sarah are pursuing prepubescent boys or septuagenarians. Or both.

Posted by Christina @ 09/28/2004 08:44 PM PST

Janice, dear: I'm a mess and I'm not going to school tomorrow, except Pre-Calc for obvious reasons, so please tell me what we do in English and dispel any inaccurate rumors that I'm absent to avoid the Econ test.

I doubt anyone really cares enough to speculate, but just in case.

Smooches.

Posted by Christina @ 09/28/2004 10:23 PM PST

I want...

Posted by Sarah @ 09/28/2004 11:24 PM PST

Christina, if you sign online... in English, we just discussed a poem and .. talked about how ASL is not a foreign language and how French will vanish with the current teacher. So says McNiff.

Hw: read Antigone and her sister's conversation. Stop right after the chorus.

No one thought you missed school because of econ, dear.

Posted by Janice @ 09/29/2004 04:46 PM PST

Thanks ever so much, dearie.

Posted by Christina @ 09/29/2004 11:34 PM PST

Posted by joan @ 10/03/2004 10:23 PM PST

ok, not gonna figure it out tonight. i'm guessing there's something wrong with the template update. the weird thing is i did the same exact thing with your blog that i did with mine, and it's working on mine. if all else fails we can try reinstalling the new version from scratch later this week.

sigh... :(

Posted by joan @ 10/03/2004 10:37 PM PST

Thanks for trying, even if it isn't working ^^ don't worry, maybe it'll work later. :)

Posted by Janice @ 10/04/2004 12:55 AM PST
