10/26/2004 Entry: "Coronation .. and old blog entries"
Music | Kanon by Pachelbel again, but this time in D Minor.
Mood | Exhausted
So I came home in a horrific mood - partially because I kinda got in a car accident, and no, I do not want to talk about it (and no, I do not want my sisters hysterically calling my house, because Mom knows and Dad doesn't), and then I got in an argument/breaking of nuclear arms agreement with Sarah, so I closed the last entry since it got bloody. (Although ironically, Sarah IMmed me about that just as I was doing it.)
Instead, here's something I got at school today, which I thought was amusing. Hopefully, you will too.
Today's Burbank High School Finance Window Purchases
I thought I was just buying coronation tickets. Guess who was proved wrong.

This is freaking hilarious. So my sister was reading through *old* blog entries, and she found this one, which was posted on December 14th, 2003. In other words, it's a freaking old entry.
At the very bottom, several _months_ after the entry had been posted, some very amusing person posted the following comments:
do u not have a life to write all that damn u wrote alot
Posted by wow..... @ 02/16/2004 08:04 PM PST
JANICE NEEDS TO GET A LIFE AND STOP INTERLOPING INTO THE BUSINESS OF OTHERS... STUPID BITCH STOP PMSing AND GET A GRIP LIFE SUCKS ALMOST AS MUCH AS YOU!
Posted by ... @ 02/22/2004 11:53 PM PST
I can't tell you how much this cracks me up. The poor sucker posted this months after I blogged - meaning, what were the chances of me finding this? - and put in this beautiful and wittingly cutting comment, hoping to - what, make me cry? I started laughing, but my sister was indignant. She said something about lame-ass, wimpy Asian boys. Anyway, I thought I'd add that in here since I was so amused.
== *edited, again, on 10-27
This is hilarious. Thanks for pointing this out, Christina. I do have over 140 blog entries, I wonder how many others these people have been bored enough to hammer?
From the last entry:
Get a life and stop gossiping. Worry about yourselves and what you can and more importantly cant do!! Stop BLAMING teachers for your deficiencies!! Teachers dont get paid enough to deal with your SHIT. They do their jobs with the intention of making a difference! Criticize, thats all you do. How would you feel if someone posted shit and criticized you!! Be an adult and take responsibility for your own FUCKUPS!!!
Posted by Yo DADDY @ 10/26/2004 09:58 PM PST
And thank you very much, my father agreed with me.
"How would you feel if someone posted shit and criticized you!! "
I guess that's what someone just did. And I, like the administrators, ironically enough, know that you can't do anything about it, sucker. I guess someone got owned today.
Here's something I noticed, though: I didn't actually criticize any teachers in my entry, just the administrators (and those who know me know that I freely hate them), and in fact, the only one criticizing teachers there is .. Justin Milota.
How odd.
Spoken words: 45 have fallen.
...Can I buy one?

What would have been even better is if it had been a) multiple quantities or b) they had charged me for him.

No, you're not considered a luxury. =P

to quote economics: you're not a final product, so you don't count in our GDP anyway.
Fahad knows that you're going with me .. she saw the reciept. (And she hummed.) So Victor, don't be surprised if she asks

I believe I said "... lame-ass, passive-aggressive, little pissant asian boy..."
No offense meant to the nonlame-ass asians guys out there, of course.

Oh, Janice dear, it seems you (we, actually) have yet another admirer. Check the comments of the last entry, "Wow, school rebellion."
What a silly person.
Posted by Christina @ 10/26/2004 11:44 PM PST
Hmm...shall we release the rabid weasels on him?
Posted by Sarah @ 10/27/2004 12:05 AM PST
Christina darling, do you think he was venting at multiple people?
Actually, doesn't Spencer get random people he doesn't know who just cruise the internet reading his blog? (That was an atrocious sentence, but bear with me.) Because the tone of that comment sounds .. well, unfamiliar, while I have a few good guesses as to who "wow" is.
And Sarah: at your leisure.
Posted by Janice @ 10/27/2004 07:31 AM PST
I do have strange people who comment, but they're regular readers of my website, so I don't worry.
One hundred forty-seventh entry! Congrats! I haven't even reached a hundred yet, but that's not counting the older blog that was manually created, not Greymatter.
I should read back entries and see if anyone's commented something strange like that...

come on... there's a lot of real-world out there for you to get humour from... you have to make things up.
i missed the ugliness... the internet is becoming an ugly place in general... *sigh*

its funny when people post comments like that saying you have no life or whatever.. when really its whoever wrote it the doesnt have a life. who goes back several months later to some random blog just to secretly insert some pg comment? not me. or do i? no i dont.
janice... why do u make my palms sweat and my knees buckle?

Mike: You have way too much free time.
Janice: You provide the ductape and I will provide the weasels.
Posted by Sarah @ 10/27/2004 08:06 PM PST
actually, that anonymous one was me... i was ashamed to comment 3 times in a row
"Ashamed"? Quoi? I commented twice in a row and in each one I talked about myself and my own website. I was planning on a third but I got distracted and when I got back to the computer the Internet had gone. But it was the fact that I had it typed and waiting to be submitted that remains. What else is there to be ashamed of?
Or maybe I did post it and it was deleted. I can't remember. I'm old.
Posted by Spencer @ 10/27/2004 09:06 PM PST
heyy....someone stole my picture or is linking to it...stupid "hehe" person.
Christina..let me know how you're posting pictures without random people stealing them...grr...
Jan...people who are posting those mean comments have no life. I mean they can't even say it to your face...they have to do it through your blog without a name.
Posted by Jessica @ 10/27/2004 11:39 PM PST
Yeah, posting comments anonymously is why my sister dubbed them "lame-ass, passive-aggressive, little pissant asian boys".
And Jessica, Mike was just direct linking ;P
Sarah: no handcuffs?
And Spencer has no shame about posting twice - why should he? I mean, look at me, I have 147 entries in a row.
Mike: ..

wasn't that internet video just mind blowing?
and i love that picture. i did steal it, actuallly. it's on my hard drive. it's just so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute.

Ductape leaves less noticeble marks...plus, if you put the rabid weasels in the offenders pants the proceed to close any openings with said ductape it is all the more fun.

I am totally as clever as everyone thinks I am. Pretend otherwise, and face the consequences.
Posted by Christina @ 10/28/2004 03:55 PM PST
Dear me, I was in a particularly bitchy mood. But really, did Stephen deserve anything better than a "kiss ass" for his rather tactless comment? I sincerely hope not.
Posted by Janice @ 10/28/2004 07:21 PM PST
It doesn't even matter what Stephen's comment was; the answer to your question is automatically "yes."
Posted by Christina @ 10/28/2004 11:42 PM PST
Indeed.
Posted by Sarah @ 10/28/2004 11:58 PM PST
Neither is there any reason why I should have had to defend myself over tossing off cliches. Oh, the horror, I made a useless comment. As if you didn't know that already.
And Sarah, is that a hidden message?
Posted by Janice @ 10/29/2004 03:55 AM PST
janice, were you really awake and online at 4 AM?????

Hello, my political buddy. Click my name for an interesting article from a business review about how Bush and Kerry, respectively, would affect the economy on different issues.
Posted by Christina @ 10/30/2004 01:39 PM PST
That's a pretty one-sided article, hun.
Posted by Sarah @ 10/30/2004 09:53 PM PST
that article is contradictory and flawed in all(or enough to bug me) repects of economics.
that's a joke, right?
after shuffling through the rest of businessweek's "top news" page... i find it funny how they try so hard to come off as bipartisan when they're so blatantly democratic that it's not even funny.
on that note... the economist predicted that kerry will win. the article started with "with a heavy heart..." and went into a discussion about how neither candidate is any good at all and that the better of two evils is kerry.
at least one major publication is taking the "we're screwed either way" stance.
Posted by zenkalia @ 10/30/2004 09:57 PM PST
...see? See?
I was good this time...yell at him.
Can this be over now? This election is like an ass-rape with a broom handle.
Posted by Sarah @ 10/30/2004 10:06 PM PST
Sarah, it really doesn't bother me. I only skimmed the article, and while I'm surprised that a business-centered publication would be liberal, since the Republicans are generally the pro-business candidates, I'll take your word for it.
Janice, I could hear you laughing last night (unless I was horribly mistaken). I'm glad you liked the scene with me, Mrs. Cantwell and Mrs. Gamadge being catty. That was my favorite one. Smooch.
Posted by Christina @ 10/31/2004 10:09 AM PST
Yes, I was laughing during that scene (and others), although by coincidence (or was it fate?) there was this woman sitting behind me with a laugh ten times as loud and ridiculously like mine. It was mildy disturbing.
I adored that scene because you're such a good bitch. Congratulations - I tried to find you afterwards, but you weren't there and I had to leave, but you did an excellent job.
Posted by Janice @ 10/31/2004 01:49 PM PST
How odd. It was also neat to hear Mr. Thomson laughing during some of the more obscure history-related jokes ("pull a Nixon... with two cocker spaniels," etc).
Yeah, I'm a genius because I was changing and I didn't even think of the fact that people would be in the front hall rather than back near the drama room, until later when I wondered where everyone had gone. I also missed a Site Council meeting last week. The point is: Extracurriculars fry the brain.
But yay, I'm glad you liked it!
