Wow. I haven't been blogging a lot lately. I think there must've have once been this period of time where I blogged every few days - maybe, gasp! even every other day - but those days are long gone. I wake up, I eat, I go to school (usually running if I'm late), I slog through six periods, then slog through (quite literally) the pool for three hours, then I slog home and collapse, somewhat like a slug. Doing my chemistry homework right now, and I must say that I really, really don't care what colligative properties are displayed by the following siutations, but well, here I am doing the work anyway.

I'm the new publicity chair for Key Club ^_^ along with Pretty Twin. Neat, huh? Mr. Thomson gave me a weird look when I babbled to him that I wanted to start a website for the bulletin (why not? :P I have ideas as to how it will work), but just said that I should work with the web tech people. Which is three guys, btw. Why is web tech always composed of males? (Last several years it has, at least.) Do females not create nice websites? I think not. I think I'm probably still depressed that I'm not web tech. Ah, well, bulletin editor is a fantastic job, and I hope I can live up to Al's work :) I wonder what program PT and I will use... ::hums:: MS Word is what the previous person used, but I can do much freer stuff with Adobe, but I dunno how I'd make it work on either program, especially since all I see on MS word is restrictions. Then again, my laser printer doesn't properly print text from adobe so that might not be too hot an idea either. But I can try... ::hums::

I need to buy a ticket for Key Club banquet. !!! I ran after school today to do a book report for English class - the Three musketeers, as one might've guessed from yesterday's entry. I felt rather bad since Jillian had been waiting there for twenty minutes (to report before softball practice), but I had to make the bus for swim in a limited amount of time anyway, and besides, I signed up before her (in a desperate rush during class). ^_^ So I sat beside her, and then Jimmy showed up barely a minute later, and both of us snickered at him rather smugly, as he was going to do a book report too - just after us :P

Mmmm. My parents just gave me some strawberries. These are bright red and ooooh-so-good. Nothing quite like fresh strawberries... ::nibbles on them::

::holds up cell phone:: Earl put the Temple of Time on my cellphone as a ring tone. I am in love with it. It's wonderful. I wonder if I can acquire some of the other songs, too? I love the songs that transport you to the Water & Forest temples.. lovely :)

More Nora Roberts books come out, and sometimes on what seems like a daily basis. Engaging the Enemy, which sounds like another re-release of two of her old books, seems like one I'll buy :P it comes out in May, gimme a break. And then there's Love By Design, which sounds horrible but I'll probably buy anyway. Dear god, it's like a cocaine habit. And I can't do anything, and my friends watch me merrily skip on the way to hell... alas, I can say nothing, as I am going to purchase her new hardcover, which came out today. Will go in about - oh, half an hour. ^_^ As a reviewer on Amazon.com said about one of her books, it's like this: "...the literary equivalent of potato chips - not very substantial, but very addictive..." Bingo. Talk about a horrific calorie binge. (Which reminds me - The Three Fates came out in paperback a few days ago. Wanna buy, wanna buy! AHHHHHH!!)

Hilariously enough, the review *I* wrote on one of Roberts' books is a "Amazon Spotlight Review", due to the fact that two out of two people found it useful. How odd is that?

I used to make mashed potatos on a fairly steady basis, but slowly dropped out since I got sick of them, plus I didn't like the taste as time went on, due to the fact that I got bored and only stirred it for maybe a minute. At any rate, last year, I started taking the mushed stuff to pasta parties (we have them the days before swim meets) as my tribute... and it was horribly unpopular the first time, but slowly gained favor as the days passed. ?_? I brought it to the pasta party before the Hart swim meet, and for some odd reason, though it was the same amount I brought last year, it was gone _really_ fast. It was the wrong type of mashed potatos, too, and I thought they didn't taste very good, even though Minako kept stealing some from the pot. Well, the pasta party is at Argus' this time, and he kept bugging me all day today to bring mashed potatos tomorrow, until I got tired and told him I'd chop up zucchini into it just so he couldn't eat it. (Apparently, he hates zucchini.) Either way, I have to buy milk and another box of flakes, which I will do when I buy my book ^_^ I hope the mashed potatos turn out well.. last time, I was scolded for not trying to reduce the fat calories. ::Janice adds more milk & margarine than the recipe calls for in order to gain flavor:: Well, excuuuse me :P maybe this time I'll add a hunk of sour cream just to annoy her. ::is considering it::

'"You must have chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star."—Friedrich Nietzsche'

That quote was at the bottom of my blog program. ?_? Where does this program come UP with these things? It won't let me enter my blog without showing me a quote from Emily Dickinson :P

::read chapter two of Haou Airen:: Excuuuse me?

Girl: "I'm returning to Japan." [He abducted her to Hong Kong where he is mafia leader. Don't ask.]
Guy looking particlularly evil and, I admit, sexy: "Didn't I say you couldn't leave? I've always gotten what I wanted, and there's nothing I can't get. You won't be returning to Japan."

::blinks vapidly at screen:: Huwhaaaa? How old is he, EIGHT? It sounds like she's a freaking toy. Shinjo Mayu has such bad characters -.- the men are good looking, yes, and pretty hot, but their personalities STINK. (Chiaki, Arima, and Daichi have the best personalities ^_^ Mamoru, too.) The girls are generally oh-so-innocent and ooooh-so-in-love, too. (Reading Kaikan Phrase... what is with that fangirl scene in chapter five? With him embracing her naked chest against his own for the cameras? Excuuuuse me?!) I happen to know that in eight or so chapters she sleeps with him, but this is an even stupider path than what I had originally thought.

Went to Disneyland with my family on Saturday. Sohyun complained that we weren't "normal", and I thought this was some sort of adolescent crisis, which I unwisely said and thus got schmacked for. I normally smile rather oddly for pictures, so for the rides, Sohyun told me to try to smile "normally" (I think this is a pattern), and guess what - the pictures for Splash Mountain & Space Mountain came out with me smiling FANTASTICALLY. I never smile well for pictures. And as for my usually photogenic family? Sohyun came out fine, my other sister came out like she was dying, my mother came out like she was dead, and my father either-or. T_T So much for me smiling nicely... (The one picture I got when we went to California Adventure last Saturday has me smiling straightly, but with my head crooked.)

Lorik, isn't Spirited Away great?? I heard the DVD is coming out in April (11th, I heard), and if that's the case, I want to buy it and then watch over and over and over ^_^ subtitled, man. Sarah, if we can find a good showing, I'd love to go :P

Ooop, dad is taking me to the bookstore now. Gotta go buy Birthright ^_^ Bye! (And comment on the entry, please :P)

A note: wow, read in my SISTER'S blog that Michelle Kwan won her 5th World Championship. ::dances around:: Michelle Kwan rules ^_^ And I know own Birthright, purchased for a grand total of $17.70 from an original price of $25.95. Not bad, huh?

::twitches:: GOMEN NASAI!!! ;_;

This is an entry I wrote Wednesday... :)

--

There are so many ways that one can hate a person. There is the light type of hatred, in which nothing serious concerning emotions is really given. There is a more moderate type, in which the person flares anger up and then dies down again without any really lasting effects. Then, there is the supreme type of anger, the type that can consume one’s mind and inevitably produce homicide in form or another. Whether or not the homicide actually takes place is a different story.

Voodoo dolls are good things. Lilo had a good idea when she told the Social Worker that her friends needed to “be punished”. Unfortunately, I’m afraid that I am not content with dressing up a spoon to look like the person who pissed me off. Rather, I’d prefer to throw the real thing in a pickle jar, cap, and shake.

Now, how would I go about accomplishing this sort of task? After all, I’d have to special order such a jar, since she would ostensibly not fit in one. Wait, never mind – I’ve had a revelation. I could chop her up in little pieces and put each individual piece in a jar so that I could treat each one like part of her. Unfortunately, I’m sure she’d die before I could chop all of her up, so perhaps not.

Slicing off all her limbs and cauterizing them with a blowtorch sounds appealing. The bleeding would stop, she’d be in extreme agony, and there would be lots of screaming.

As one might tell, my current hatred is either in the “flaring up” category or that of consuming minds.

I think I am entertaining my seat partner with this :P

I’m not weeping anymore, which is a good thing. I hate getting weepy, because it’s annoying and now I have a splitting headache and inevitably and am not going to go to swim practice. Great. Well, I was feeling sick anyway, which is probably why I started crying instead of raging against and dropping her off the highest story at Burbank High School, which, unfortunately, is not very high. Three stories, and someone already tossed themselves off of it and survived, so she’d probably bounce, being the alien that she is.

Why am I angry, you ask? Well, that is an intelligent question.

Take Catherine the Great. I did a report on her today. When someone pissed her off, what did she do? She dealt with it in an intelligent and professional manner.

She killed them.

I would like to accomplish what Catherine II the Great did. Unfortunately, she lived in the late 1700’s, when this sort of thing was somewhat allowed. I would know, since as I said, I did a report on her earlier today for my Honors World History class. At any rate, why I’m mad.

I worked my ass off for this report. That is true. That is not an understatement, even if I do have a particularly huge ass to work off, and it is not an overstatement, because I DID work my ass off. (In spirit – it remains physically.) I worked with my good friend Tanya, and our topic was “Frederick II (The Great) and Catherine II (The Great)”. They were ‘Enlightened Despots’. Oooh.

Our history teacher set us a time minimum – may I repeat, MINIMUM – of thirty minutes per topic. We had no choice but to choose these two Great Enlightened Depots II because it was, virtually, the last topic left. This does not, however, sound like one topic to me, and did not when we acquired it, either. At any rate, Tanya became obsessed with Frederick’s father’s sadism (she is a sick, sick child) and so took him, and I reported on Catherine the Great.

She ruled for thirty-four years. Here, let me restate that in other ways: 408 months, 45968 fortnights, 91936 weeks, 12410 days, and some disgusting amount of hours that I am not willing to calculate. As for Frederick, he ruled for sixty plus years.

So how the fuck am I supposed to pack these two rulers into thirty minutes? The answer is simple: we DIDN’T. Because the thirty minutes was a MINIMUM.

So she was complaining and apparently said something to the extent of, "Oh, I could've added more but I didn't because I was thinking of the time limit," so, "Aren't you going to take off points?" I was PISSED. I worked my butt off for that project and then hearing that... ::growls:: Since then, Tanya got into a fight with the girl in question, who argued that she thought he might "curve the project grade". Who curves PROJECT grades? It is, as my mother said, bullshit. That is a direct quote, too :P

Anyway, I also wanted to talk about Key Club Convention. We were a very small group, so perhaps that's part of the reason why we weren't as spirited as we were last year. Either way, it was a fairly fun convention, even if Molly's bro is an ass and needs to leave me alone, and even if someones-who-will-not-be-named ditched their workshops :P I think the only really stupid part was the fact that inbetween the hotel and convention center, it rained ALL that day, meaning I was walking in my velvet-colored pumps back and forth in a business suit in the RAIN. My shoes literally leaked dye onto my hose. I was not pleased.

Neither are my hose -.- they're ruined.

Anyway, I'm trying for the Key Club Web Tech position :) I'll try hard to do a good job at interview, and I want to do a good job for the club. I really like Key Club, and I want to use this as an opportunity to really learn about the innards of the club. ^.^ It promises to be an interesting learning experience.

My sister came home tonight, yay :P she'll get to use the computer while I'm at school this week. My family is going to Disneyland tomorrow.. hence why I'm missing A Special Dinner.

To Sarah: A veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery big, somewhat early, Happy Birthday! XD I'm so happy you're sixteen, and I'm sorry I can't make it, but I luuuuve you and I hope you have a good time without me anyway :)

Note: I need to write fanfics. My book is coming along at a really weird pace. I keep coming up with lots of ideas and concepts, but I don't have that much actually _written_. I'll do a lot of actual writing work in the summer, though. XD I can't wait. June 21: school is over, and HARRY POTTER NUMBER FIVE IS OUT!!!! Yay! ^.^

At any rate, go here: http://www.mugglenet.com to see the covers of the new Harry Potter book! The two British covers and the new one by Mary Grandpre :) the blue one is my personal favorite... I love Harry Potter ^^ anyway, bye now.

Yes, Spencer, I do have a lot to blog about X_X Excuse the lack of blogging, lately I've been bogging. Down in school work, that is. I wake up, I go to school, I go to swim practice, I do my homework, and then I'm in bed. I wrote a very nice blog entry at school today, but it won't read off of my floppy disk so one will just have to wait until tomorrow.

I did have a good time at Key Club Convention (what with the rain causing the dye to leak out of my heels, oh joy), and unlike sooooooooome people I know, I went to all the workshops :P anyway, I have a ton of homework, so I gotta go. ;_; I'll bring that blog entry tomorrow.. it was a good one and I don't feel like re-writing it since it was a very creative rant.

This was a very long week.

As you might have noticed, I did not post all week long.

In fact, I have not posted since Thursday of last week.

Because I have been really, really overworked.

"Why?" you ask. "Why have you been overworked?"

If you're like the girl from my history class, who noticed my over-worked state and then commented, "Hahaha, you should learn to manage your time" with a little smug smirk, you probably don't want to read this.

Not that I want comforting or "oh you poor baby", either. -.- I just feel like ranting. Or blogging! ^.^ So if you're willing to suffer through my madness, read the rest by clicking on the linkie ^^
